Midland Air Service Experts was delighted to participate in the Midlands Ride for Kids in April. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has volunteered for this incredible event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit financing research into childhood brain tumors. The raised money funds free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial support for families.
Midland Air Service Experts donated $1000 to this great cause and the nationwide event has raised over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been involved in the event since 2014 and her dad’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids annually.
“My dad’s motorcycle group participates every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for an amazing cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The philanthropic motorcycle riders may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t as into the riding part of the event. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
